Absolutely worth the 2-hour drive from Abu Dhabi. Although the hotel is older, it is very well maintained and spotlessly clean. It sits near the edge of the UAE, far from any nearby city, which adds to its charm and sense of escape.The beach is truly exceptional—turquoise, crystal-clear water and soft golden sand. It’s easily one of my favorite beaches in the UAE. The water feels light and refreshing; you actually feel clean and renewed after swimming, unlike the heavier feel you get in city beaches. The quiet surroundings create a deep sense of calm and mental clarity.The staff were outstanding—professional, warm, and fluent in English, with no awkward “lost in translation” moments. We were pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade, giving us an amazing beachfront view.The buffet lunch and dinner offered a generous variety of international cuisine, all of which we really enjoyed. The freshly grilled steak and seafood were exceptional—some of the best we’ve had. For a hotel this far from the city, the food quality truly exceeded expectations, especially since resorts away from urban areas often fall short unless they are ultra-luxury.For the price we paid, the experience was wonderful. We will definitely return and highly recommend this mid-range hotel for anyone seeking peace, natural beauty, and great value.

Not much night entertainment for the family on weekend but they have the live music during dinner time and it was nice . The singer has a lovely voice . We went to our hotel room early which is great so we woke up relax and well rested .

Enjoyed the quiet beach. The buffet dinner was excellent, offering a great variety and quality of food.I would also like to thank the gentleman at reception who assisted us during checkout.

On second day, all my key cards for both rooms were deactivated, we had to go down to the reception to reactivate them. (my booking was for two nights/3 days).

Ungraded room from deluxe room to beach front chalet, temperature-controlled swimming pool and private beach.

Far but worth it

Everything was perfect, from check in process to check out.

I wish if we had an access to changing room directly from pool without to have to walk thru the gym.

Cleanliness and food

Dhana Resort was absolutely beautiful. It truly felt like a little slice of the Maldives — so peaceful, calm, and refreshing. The atmosphere was extremely relaxing and made the whole stay feel special.The staff was amazing, especially the receptionist. She was incredibly kind and welcoming, and the complimentary chalet she gave me was such a sweet and thoughtful gesture. It honestly made my day.

I extended my stay for an additional night, and once again the resort delivered the same calm atmosphere and the usual high level of comfort that makes it such a reliable choice.This time, I especially want to recognize the Lobby Attendants Latif, Ismaeel, Dexter, and Mohammed for their outstanding service..They were attentive, helpful, and genuinely welcoming, and they made everything smoother and more pleasant throughout my stay.Their professionalism and friendly attitude really stood out and added a great personal touch to the experience.Danat Jebel Dhanna Resort remains an excellent destination for comfort, service, and peace of mind.

Some confusion happened in booking we were two family but one was executive and one Delux by mistake when booked in booking but staff was very really friendly he upgraded our room so living room was there to spend time with our families

Drove from Dubai to Riyadh. Hotel is in the perfect location to rest in between the two cities.

Bed wasn't very comfortable. Some water pipe noises from the wall in the Chalet.

Didn't like anything, I booked a room, then when I went to check in the staff were rude, and then somewhere between me sitting down the room I had booked days in advance was no longer available and there was all of a sudden no availability
